Tanglewood Memphis GSA-3N Semi-Hollow Electric Guitar β Made in Korea
A superb example of the highly regarded Korean-built Tanglewood early edition Memphis series, this late 1990s / early 2000s GSA-3N was manufactured in the renowned Samick factory, a period widely recognised for producing exceptionally well-built instruments for numerous leading brands.
Styled after the classic ES-345 design, the GSA-3N features a laminated maple semi-hollow body with a solid centre block, delivering the perfect balance of warm, open resonance and excellent sustain while keeping feedback under control. A comfortable slim-profile maple neck is paired with a bound rosewood fingerboard featuring elegant block inlays, making this an effortless guitar to play.
Loaded with a pair of full-bodied humbuckers, the traditional 2-volume, 2-tone control layout and three-way selector provide everything from smooth jazz cleans to rich blues and classic rock tones. Gold hardware completes the premium look, with some light age-related tarnishing adding genuine vintage character.
This guitar remains in very good overall condition for its age, showing only honest cosmetic play wear with no significant chips, cracks or structural issues. It has been professionally set up and plays beautifully with a comfortable action and impressive sustain.
