This is a Peerless Retromatic Prototype Pre-Production Model P2 Arch top finished in Ivory.

Developed with producer, songwriter, and session guitarist Sean Genockey. He then fitted it with hand-wound one-of-a-kind Monty's pickups. Monty also undertook a re-fret and setup, before Sean used it on many gigs and recordings.

This guitar is in excellent overall condition with just a few light playing marks, light dings and signs of use. The setup of this guitar is great and it's really nice to play.

This is a very interesting and high-specification instrument. It has a Stetbar Pro II bridge and tremolo system and Grover Imperial machine heads. The scale is 24 3/4" and it measures 43mm at the top nut. Mahogany C shape neck with a Rosewood fingerboard and a low heel profile.

The archtop single F-Hole body incorporates a center block. The electronics include a 3-way pickup selector and a Varitone giving the player a usable range of tones and options.

Peerless branded guitars are sadly no longer in production from what we understand at this time. This guitar is an interesting development guitar from a respected guitar builder and musician.
