Here’s a killer piece of early-’90s Peavey craftsmanship a USA-made Rudy Sarzo Signature Bass, built tough, balanced, and ready to shake walls. These Sarzo models have a cult following for good reason: solid build, punchy tone, and that unmistakable Peavey feel that makes you wonder why they ever stopped making them.

This one’s seen some smart, player-focused upgrades while keeping all the original parts safely in tow. It’s now loaded with a set of EMG 35P4 and EMG 35J pickups, paired with EMG’s BQS active preamp system a versatile setup that brings massive clarity, low-end depth, and studio-grade responsiveness to every note. The pickup rings were crafted to neatly cover the original cavities, keeping the look tidy and professional.

The original toggle switch is still present (though now redundant with the new electronics), and the control cavity has been fully shielded for a whisper-quiet noise floor. Hardware has been thoughtfully upgraded too Schaller M4 tuners for rock-solid stability and a Schaller 3D bridge for precise intonation and adjustable string spacing.

Condition is Very Good, with a handful of dings, light scratches, and honest play wear you’d expect from a 30-year-old workhorse no breaks, no structural issues, just character from years of real-world use. Frets are healthy, neck’s straight, and the action is dialed in beautifully.

Comes complete with the original Peavey hardshell case and all of the original parts, should you ever want to restore it to stock spec.
