This is a rare 1974 Martin D-35 Dreadnought acoustic finished in Sunburst.
This example has a very nice easy playing action and a superb tone as one would expect for a 51-year-old vintage acoustic.
Spruce top, Indian Rosewood back and sides, The back is the additional D-35 3-Peice Rosewood. Mahogany neck with a bound Ebony fingerboard with pearloid dot markers.
The Machine heads are the original Grovers which work perfectly. The factory sunburst is rich and vibrant, it is a stunning guitar to behold.
It has been well cared for over the years and there are no cracks, modifications, or issues with the finish.
It benefits from a professional stainless steel re-fret and a replaced top nut. There are two minor cracks on the fingerboard edge binding (pictured)
This guitar is sold with a high-quality Hiscox hardshell case.
We have given it a full setup and workshop inspection and it is now ready for a new home.
