Marshall JTM-45 Head 1965 & Custom 2x12" Cab "Clapton Spec!"

Absolutely Stunning & very original 1965/'66 Marshall JTM-45 Head with matching custom-built 2x12" Cabinet, both in Excellent Condition!

We LOVE our vintage Marshall amps in-store and sometimes we even get to see old friends make a return for a short stint before finding another new home. The eagle-eyed among you will recognize this stunning JTM-45 that we have sold once previously, It's recently returned to us in part-ex & is just as we remember it, jaw-dropping! 

Having a very similar/the same circuit as Eric Clapton's coveted Blue Breaker, the previous owner has had KT66 GEC valves installed during a recent service by Anthony & Tube Distinctions! (Anthony is renowned among fanatics & is known for being a go-to technician for such icons as Jimmy Page of Led Zepplin!)

As we know from looking into this amplifier here previously, This JTM-45 is pretty original but it has obviously had some components changed over the years: the output transformer which is an original specification genuine Marshall unit, the Treble pot, one smoothing capacitor has also been replaced, Standby Switch, the Treble Pot & 1 or 2 caps have been replaced.

It's accompanying 2x12" cabinet is custom-made by AF Customs, It's a beautifully put-together solid cabinet that features some beautiful Vintage Celestion Greenback Speakers, as well as original vintage Marshall grill cloth that has been saved from an original Bluesbreaker!

This is one almighty setup that will never disappoint! The JTM-45 head also comes with a Hot Covers sleeve included!
