After almost two decades, the guitar has developed the depth, complexity and openness that makes a well-played and well-cared-for Lowden so rewarding. The acoustic voice is beautifully mature, with a rich and articulate low end, clear, singing trebles and an excellent balance across the entire register. There is plenty of warmth and harmonic detail, while still retaining the clarity and projection that Lowden guitars are renowned for.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eThe F35C is an exceptionally versatile instrument. It responds beautifully to a light touch but has plenty of headroom when played more forcefully, making it equally suited to fingerstyle, flatpicking and more dynamic playing.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eCondition is excellent for its age. There is only light evidence of play wear, with no significant dents, dings or marks. The frets show some minor wear but remain in very good usable condition, and the guitar has been nicely maintained. The playing action is particularly comfortable and easy, making this a very enjoyable instrument to play.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eThere is one small cosmetic point worth mentioning for complete transparency. On the bass side of the neck joint, on the upper bout, there is a small area where the finish has a slightly milky appearance along the seam. This is a subtle finish-related cosmetic issue only. The joint itself is sound and stable, and there is no indication of any structural problem with the neck, body or neck-to-body connection. It is a minor visual imperfection rather than a repair issue, and we have priced and described the guitar accordingly.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eAs you would expect from a Lowden of this period, the construction, materials and attention to detail are exceptional.
