Ibanez DT50FR Destroyer II Fire Red 1982

A fantastic example of an early ’80s Ibanez DT50FR Destroyer II from 1982, with all the unmistakable attitude and character of this iconic era of Ibanez guitar design. With its distinctive angular body shape and unmistakable rock credentials, the Destroyer II is a seriously cool instrument and a great addition to any collection. This example is presented in Very Good condition and has clearly seen plenty of playing over the years.

From what we know, the guitar remains all original, making it an especially appealing example for anyone looking for a vintage Ibanez from this period. It does show plenty of cosmetic wear, with a collection of dings, chips and marks to the finish, all entirely in keeping with its age and history. Rather than detracting from its appeal, these signs of use give the guitar plenty of honest vintage character.

Importantly, the fretboard and frets are in great condition, which is always reassuring on a well-used instrument of this age.
