Beautiful 1964 Hofner President E2 Thin Brunette Violin Sunburst, In Excellent Condition!

We've just taken in yet another beautiful Hofner! This one specifically is Serial No.1010 & is a President E2 Thin Brunn, or as they are more commonly known Thin Line or Thin Brunette referring to its thin body depth. This President dates back to 1964 and has been beautifully well maintained in that time with its original Violin 'Brunette' Sunburst aging beautifully.

As previously mentioned this President has been beautifully well-kept by its previous owner who has maintained this instrument extremely well over the past 60 years! However, despite all the love this President has had over the years there are a few areas that show this Hofner's natural aging & checking as pictured. There are also some areas where previously some stickers have been put on the instrument and have unfortunately burnt into the finish. These small cosmetic areas do not affect the instrument's performance or tone in any way, it still sounds superb, & would be a great addition to anyone's collection!

As is standard practice with any new arrival in store, this very cool Hofner has been through the trusted hands of our team in our onsite workshop to ensure it is in tip-top shape for its new home and owner! This President now plays with an impressively low action & an effortless feel, as well as delivering a gorgeous tone both acoustically & amplified

Our 1964 Hofner President E2 Thin Brunn comes with its original Hard Case which has the original owner's branding on its front and a broken latch, the case is still functional.
