This is a Gibson SG 61 Re-Issue manufactured in 2010 and it benefits from some really nice useful upgrades.

These 2010 examples have the slightly larger headstock and more period correct body contours. This is a great period of production and it shows when you look at the fit and finish of this instrument.

It's no case queen, showing small chips and dings the result of some genuine age-related wear, but its authentic and just make this guitar look so cool. It is also a real player, perfectly set up by our very own workshop and ready to gig.

The neck and frets are superb and the 57 Classic humbuckers deliver an SG tone to die for.

Faber Deluxe aged machine heads with a 15:1 ratio are fitted, far superior to the original Klusons. The wiring loom is a "full" Monty's system. Made with only the best components: short-shaft 500k CTS audio taper pots, a Switchcraft 3-way toggle, vintage correct wire and two super high-quality oil capacitors. You really do get the best out of the 57's humbuckers fitted with this addition.

The scratchplate, truss rod cover and poker chip are all from Creamtone in USA 61 Les Paul parts, It really brings this guitar to life with its naturally aged hardware. It weighs just 6.85lb and the Mahogany selected for this build is really nice.

The switch tip is an aged Relic finish too to match all the guitar hardware. It has its original case and paperwork.
