A superb example of Gibson’s hollowbody craftsmanship, this 1961 ES-330TD reissue from the Memphis factory delivers everything you would expect from a professional-grade vintage-inspired instrument. Lightweight, highly resonant, and exceptionally responsive, it’s a guitar that feels alive in the hands.
Finished in a beautifully figured VOS Sunburst, this instrument presents in excellent condition with only minimal, light playing marks. Coming from a large private collection, it has seen very little use over the years. The fingerboard and frets remain in outstanding shape, offering smooth, effortless playability with a comfortable, well-set action.
Equipped with a pair of Gibson MHS P-90 Dog Ear pickups featuring historically accurate Alnico magnets, this ES-330 produces rich, articulate tones with plenty of character—from warm, woody cleans to raw, expressive bite when pushed.
A factory-fitted Bigsby B-7 vibrato adds both visual appeal and musical versatility, operating smoothly and holding tuning stability well. The traditional C-profile neck feels instantly familiar, while a host of vintage-correct details make this a highly authentic and inspiring instrument.
There has been a small, professionally executed finish repair near the strap button behind the heel, carried out to a high standard and purely cosmetic.
