PRODUCT DETAILS
Gibson LG-0 1964 Natural
This is a lovely little 1964 Gibson LG-0 Acoustic Flat Top, serial number 160367.
It has a small "C" shape neck with a 12" radius, which makes it comfortable to play, with a medium action and the tone is full with a deep-quality bass sound found on much larger guitars.
These small Mahogany Gibsons really sound good, It has a mahogany top/body, round soundhole, screwed-on teardrop pickguard, rosewood fingerboard with dot Pearloid inlays, 24 3/4 scale, black peghead w/screened Gibson logo and is made in natural mahogany finish.
The frets and fingerboard are in great shape. The table, as you often see on these old Gibsons, is belling up slightly, and it looks like the bridge plate has been re-glued in the past, but the action is good, and it's a playable guitar.
The guitar has lots of light chips and dings as to be expected, but it is crack-free and there are no other repairs visible. The original machine heads work as they should and it is a nice used example with plenty of vintage Character.
Sold with a good quality generic hardshell case.
