This is a fine example of a 2024 Gibson J-45 Special finished in a satin Sunburst nitro finish.
Built with an all solid tonewood construction, it features an X-braced Sitka spruce top paired with traditional mahogany back and sides. The slightly shallower concert body depth gives the guitar a comfortable feel while retaining the classic J-45 voice.
It comes factory fitted with an LR Baggs Anthem Bronze pickup system, making it equally at home on stage or in the studio.
Our example has seen very little use and remains in remarkable condition. The frets are excellent and the playing action is spot on, making it an easy and responsive instrument to play.
Tonally, it delivers everything you would expect from a J-45 style Gibson: a warm, rounded low end, clear and woody mids, and a sweet, open top that responds beautifully to both fingerstyle and strumming. The overall character is full, balanced and lively, with that familiar Gibson depth that sits so well in a mix.
According to Gibson’s current factory specification for the J-45 Special, the model features a solid Sitka spruce top with traditional hand-scalloped X bracing, solid mahogany back and sides, a mahogany neck with a comfortable rounded profile, rosewood fingerboard and bridge, and a satin nitrocellulose lacquer finish.
