This is a magnificent E.A. Foley Dreadnought acoustic, utter perfection with a sound to match its looks, built by Ed in 2001.
It's rare to find an example of this talented luthier's work in the UK, and we are very proud to offer it for sale, it will outgun a Martin D-45 by some margin when you look at the specification of this fine guitar.
The detail and quality of this build is staggering. This particular model is a SE-204 Brazilian Rosewood Dreadnought.
As mentioned, its tone and playability are also exceptional, it is not just a show queen, it will deliver a true Dreadnought sound, a flat pickers dream, and a songwriter inspiration.
This guitar also benefits from an undersaddle pickup ideal for stage or recording use.
We contacted Ed Foley regarding the cost to build this instrument to a similar specification today and it would now be upwards of $23,000.
