Very near mint 2004 Hot Rod Red Fender Artist Series Mark Knopfler Signature Stratocaster in Excellent Condition!

A true Sultan of Swing! Another gorgeous Fender signature model has joined our stellar lineup in store in the form of this gorgeous Mark Knopfler signature finished in Hot Rod Red, replicating Knopflers iconic Sultans of Swing 1962 Fender Stratocaster. Much like the original this Artist Series Strat' features a '57-style lightweight ash body married to a Vintage-tinted, '62-style soft 'C' profiled maple neck with a gorgeous rosewood fingerboard! The Knopfler signature also features a trifecta of Fender Texas Special Pickups!

Our Knopfler Signature Strat' is Serial No. SE00017 making this a VERY early production of this model which ran from 2004 to 2013. Our's has been exceedingly well kept by its previous owner & is in VERY near mint condition with only some very light oxidization to the tuners & the expected buffing marks. Otherwise, we believe this guitar has mostly stayed in its case and has barely been played. This is definitely one for the collectors out there & the die-hard Dire Straits / Mark Knopfler fans out there!

As is standard practice with any new arrival in store, this very cool Knopfler Signature Strat' has been through the trusted hands of our team in our onsite workshop to ensure it is in tip-top shape for its new home and owner!

Our beautiful 2004 Hot Rod Red Fender Artist Series Mark Knopfler Signature Stratocaster comes in its original C&G Brown Tolex Fender Case, housing all of its original tags & docs, as well as other case candy including a cable, strap, ash-tray bridge cover, trim-bar & more!
