Fender Jaguar Sunburst 1963

This is a super cool 1963 pre–CBS Fender Jaguar offset solid body guitar.

Presented for sale with a great setup, good frets, and a more player-friendly brass saddles-equipped bridge. The damper has the original foam and works as it should. All the electronics are original and the pots date correctly. It has the original tremolo arm.

These have the slightly thicker laminate Rosewood board with clay position markers and a one-piece Maple neck.

It has numerous age-related marks and dings all in keeping with a used vintage instrument

The top E and bottom E single-line machine heads have been replaced with more modern units as well as the bridge which has been upgraded to a Mastery & the Fender-Mute has been re-foamed, the rest are original and function correctly. The top nut measures 41mm and the weight of the guitar is 8.55Lb.

The flat pole pickups sound great and this guitar has a nice acoustic ring when played un-amplified.         

Sold with a period correct Selmer hardshell case which has a missing latch.
