Design influences and artist collaboration
Developed with Eric Clapton, this model reflects the features he relied upon throughout his transition from powerful, overdriven tones to his signature clean, compressed, and articulate voice of the late 1980s onward. The soft V neck profile is a direct nod to his preference for the feel of early- to mid-’50s Stratocasters, offering both comfort and stability for expressive vibrato and chordal playing.
