PRODUCT DETAILS
1989 Fender Eric Clapton Stratocaster “Blackie” in Black finish, from the early production years of this long-standing and highly regarded Fender artist series.
Built to 1989 Fender factory specification and inspired by Eric Clapton’s famous ‘57 Strat, fitted with three original Gold Lace Sensor pickups, soft V maple neck and active mid-boost circuitry.
A superb playing example with the smooth, compressed Strat tones these guitars are known for — warm, articulate and expressive with plenty of sustain and clarity.
Condition is exceptional for its age, showing only a few small dings and light signs of use consistent with a well cared for vintage instrument. Frets have plenty of life remaining and the guitar plays beautifully with a comfortable, dialled-in setup. Fully workshop checked and ready for its next home.
This guitar weighs 7.91Lb.
Complete with original Fender tweed hard-shell case.
