Fender Elite Telecaster with Maple Fretboard 1984 Brown Sunburst Left Hand

This is a very nice example of a rare left-handed Fender Elite Telecaster.

Made in the old Fullerton, California, U.S.A. in 1984, The neck date is 13th September 1984 and it is stamped "Torres" These guitars were made for a very short period, and we don't often see lefty versions.

The condition is excellent for a 40-year-old guitar, with just a few light marks and dings. The frets have plenty of life left in them, nicely crowned and polished. As this guitar was part of a large collection and has been used sparingly over the years.

The specification and build quality of these fine instruments is very highly regarded by guitarists.

Top bound 3‑piece alder body finished in polyester Brown Sunburst, which is still vibrant.

Maple bolt‑on neck with mahogany ‘skunk stripe’, Onboard active 9V preamp with MDX (mid‑range) and TBX (high‑range) tone controls. Original Fender‑branded tuners. Scale length 25½”. Bi‑flex truss rod.

4‑bolt etched ‘Fender Elite’ neck plate with ‘Micro‑Tilt’ adjustment. Original chrome hardware, in excellent condition. Original Fender Freeflyte™ top loading hardtail bridge, Which is a superb piece of engineering. Original dual‑coil noise-canceling Alnico 2 pickups with white covers and non‑exposed pole pieces,3‑way toggle pickup selector switch. Unique original white Fender‑branded control knobs with black rubber grip rings
