Up for grabs is a 2021 Epiphone SG Standard ‘61 in Vintage Cherry, complete with the Maestro Vibrola for that unmistakable sideways shimmer and a proper nod to early ‘60s spec. It’s got all the right visual cues, slim, double-cut body, small pickguard, and that deep cherry finish that just works every time.
In hand, it feels fast and lively, with the kind of easy upper fret access that SGs are known for. Plugged in, you’re getting a clear, biting top end, a punchy midrange, and enough low-end presence to keep things full without ever getting muddy. It handles everything from crisp cleans to driven rock tones with ease, and the Vibrola adds a subtle expressive edge when you want it.
Condition is excellent overall. There’s some light playwear as you’d expect, along with a bit of tarnishing on the tailpiece that gives it a touch of natural ageing. Nothing excessive, just honest signs of use that don’t take away from how well it presents.
It comes with an aftermarket shaped hard case that fits the guitar nicely and keeps it protected on the move. A great option if you’re after classic SG looks and feel with the added character of a Vibrola system.
