This is a vintage Charvel 475 Deluxe Exotic HSS Flame Maple Cherry Sunburst in excellent condition!
These were made for a very short period of time and we think that this one date from 1989.
Legendary build quality, and built up to a specification rather than down to a price.
Original and unmolested, despite its 36 years on the planet, this one has been loved. Just a very few light marks. It would be hard to find a nicer example. The action is wonderful, and the active electronics are versatile and powerful.
Maple neck, Rosewood fingerboard, Snow drift perloid inlays, and proper pointy large Charvel headstock!
Neck: Rounded maple neck with cream binding & black side-dots. Frets are clean and shiny with no wear. Bound headstock with Jackson die-cast tuners, again working perfectly.
1 11/16" nut width with locking nut; 25 1/2" scale length. Neck is straight & truss rod works perfectly. The Allen wrenches are missing.
The bridge pickup is the Jackson J50BC; the two single coils may be stacked humbuckers, but it's all original and everything works as it should.
Body: Contoured, "Super Stat" style solid body with flame maple top and back in cherry sunburst finish. Schaller tremolo bridge made in Germany & licensed under Floyd Rose patents with Charvel branding on the bass side. Adjustable/locking saddles with trem arm & black hardware. The guitar weighs just 7.72 lbs.
Electronics: Jackson HSS pickups with active electronics & 5-way selector switch. Dual volume & master tone controls with black knurled knobs. All electronics are in perfect working condition.
Original Charvel hardshell case included.
