A very rare Benedetto Pat Martino Custom Flame Top with gold hardware is presented for sale in excellent condition, built as a bespoke custom order in 2024 from the renowned Benedetto workshop. Combining world-class craftsmanship with refined jazz styling and modern performance, this is a highly individual instrument from one of the most respected names in boutique archtop guitar building.

This example has been played very little and is in excellent condition. It has a perfect setup and no discernible fret wear. We have given it a full workshop inspection and it's now ready for a new home.

Constructed with a chambered mahogany body and a beautifully selected hand-carved figured maple top, the guitar delivers exceptional resonance, warmth and clarity while remaining lightweight and remarkably responsive in the hands. The elegant flame figuring beneath the finish gives the instrument a striking visual presence without losing the understated sophistication associated with the Benedetto name.

The compact body dimensions make this a wonderfully comfortable guitar to play, featuring a 14 1/2" lower bout and 1 5/8" body depth, perfectly balanced for both seated and standing performance. The mahogany neck is paired with a flawless ebony fingerboard featuring a traditional 12" radius, 24 5/8" scale length and 22 frets, offering a smooth and effortless playing experience across the register.

Hardware appointments are equally tasteful, including a gold Tune-o-Matic bridge, matching stop tailpiece and ebony finger rest, all complementing the instrument’s sleek contemporary aesthetic.

Electronics are provided by a Benedetto A-6 black humbucker with controlled volume and tone controls, delivering exceptional articulation, warmth and dynamic response. Whether used for traditional jazz phrasing or more contemporary fusion tones, the guitar retains outstanding clarity and touch sensitivity throughout.

Condition is excellent overall, clearly reflecting careful ownership. The guitar is fitted with flat-wound strings.

This guitar presents beautifully with only minimal signs of previous handling and has been exceptionally well maintained.
