PRODUCT DETAILS
This is a very clean and presentable 1971 Martin 000-18 acoustic in excellent condition for its age.
With no cracks breaks or repairs, black light tested here, and with a superb playing action. A very fine example of this famous small, bodied Martin acoustic.
Solid Mahogany body, Adirondack Spruce top, one piece Mahogany neck, Rosewood fingerboard, and with its original factory-fitted Grover machine heads.
The frets have plenty of life in them and they are nicely crowned and polished.
One of the best examples that we have seen in many years. With a fantastic balance between bass and treble and a full woody tone.
It has opened up nicely after 53 years on the planet, you just don’t get this kind of tone from a new acoustic.
It has an under-saddle pickup fitted, unfortunately, we don’t know what brand this is. Very little sign of use for its age, just light playing wear.
It also benefits from having its original Martin hardshell case which is also in excellent shape.
We are an appointment-only store. All instruments are handled by Motomusic employees only.
We are always happy to consider quality part exchange instruments here.
