This is a magnificent example of a vintage Takamine EN-18 electro-acoustic from the golden years at the Japanise Takamine factory, 1992.
This was a top of the range Dreadnought at the time. Featuring a solid Spruce top and nicely figured Rosewood back and sides. Featuring the most exquisite Abalone inlay work very reminiscent of a D-41 but with the addition of a Maple edge binding.
The condition is exceptional with very nice action and well-dressed frets with plenty of life.
We were selling Takamine guitars 1990s and the Palathetic Pre-amps in these really set the standard, just plug it in and get a great sound. The EQ variation available is well thought out and usable. Hard to beat these even with today technology its fantastic stage and studio guitar.
The condition of this instrument is excellent for the year. Just a few marks here and there. It's obviously been well looked after and not seen much use.
