In later years the Flying V was adopted and peeked in its popularity with many Heavy Metal bands of the 1980s as well as the Punk bands of the late 80s for its distinctive looks and iconic sound. It was in this decade and years to follow that the Flying V became a classic and iconic instrument as well as a favorite among collectors.

Our 2015 Pro T (Pro Traditional) has stayed close to its roots whilst adapting to one or two minor changes to launch this futuristic-looking axe back to the future! You'll notice the absence of a pickguard to give an edgy modern look, it's been loaded with '57 Classic & BurstBucker 3 "Zebra Coiled" Humbucker Pickups not only to give you anything from Glistening Cleans to The Most Crushing of Metal tones but also to stay in keeping with its other cream appointments. Our Pro T V also features a Nirto' finished gloss top but had a satin finish back and neck to ease of playability.
