Fender American Standard Telecaster with Maple Fretboard 2008 Vintage White

This is a virtually un-played Fender American Standard Telecaster made in 2008 in mint condition.

This guitar even has its original protective film and Fender "point of sale" stickers on its Black pickguard! It looks like it has spent its entire life stored in its case!

This is a very nice white Finish, in exceptional condition. The finish has yellowed slightly to a very nice crème/light yellow finish. There is no playwear or any signs of use that we can see on this guitar. This was a great period of USA Fender guitar production when the factory was building guitars to a very high standard.

It has its original Fender-shaped hardshell case and original swing tags and paperwork which is also unmarked.

During this period the American Standard Telecaster featured Fenders "DetaTone" pickups and electronics. The Delta-Tone system is a circuit consisting of a new higher output bridge pickup in conjunction with a new "no-load" tone pot. The pot has a detent at the 10 position, which bypasses completely any filtration through capacitors."

This gives the ability to essentially disconnect the tone pot for those who might want the feature, but still have the ability to rotate the pot off the detent and roll off the tone normally. This makes it an exceptionally versatile and nice-sounding Telecaster.

This guitar weighs 7.82 lb. The playing action is lovely and it's everything a real USA Telecaster should be.
