Very cool Jetglo 1975 Rickenbacker 4001 in Very Good Condition!

Here’s a sweet slice of ‘70s low-end history: a 1975 Rickenbacker 4001 in classic JetGlo. Sleek, moody, and absolutely dripping with vintage mojo. These mid-’70s Rics are known for their unmistakable tone bright and punchy with that signature grind that cuts through any mix.

This one’s in very good condition overall, showing the kind of honest play wear you'd expect from a nearly 50-year-old instrument. Some light buckle rash, minor dings, and finish checking in places, but nothing that takes away from its vibe or playability just the kind of character you want in a vintage player.

The neck is straight, truss rods are healthy, and it plays smoothly all the way up the board. Frets have plenty of life left. It’s been played, but clearly cared for.

Now for the twist, the bridge pickup has been upgraded to a Seymour Duncan Rickenbacker Bass Bridge pickup, giving this bass an extra dose of clarity, punch, and low-end articulation. It still retains that signature Ric character, but with a bit more modern edge and definition. The neck pickup remains the original "toaster"-style, offering warmth and depth.

All other hardware and electronics are original, including the stereo Rick-O-Sound jack for dual-amp setups. Comes in its original Rickenbacker hard shell case, which is worn but fully functional.
