PRODUCT DETAILS
This is a late 1950's Kay K142 "Stratotone" manufactured in Chicago USA.
A fine example, very original aside from its machine heads and the addition of a strap button. The chunky neck is super nice to play. The action is easy and it is currently set up with flat wound strings.
The Copper finish is Nitro and has aged well, with numerous scuffs and checking, all in keeping with its age.
The electronics are all original, stackpole pots and paper and oil caps.
It is being sold with a generic old hardshell case.
We are an appointment-only, store. All instruments are handled by Motomusic employees only.
