Up for sale is a fantastic 2012 Hagstrom Select Ultra Swede, finished in a classic Vintage Sunburst and presented in Excellent condition. A distinctive take on the traditional single-cut design, the Ultra Swede combines Hagstrom's Scandinavian approach to guitar building with a fast-playing neck, versatile electronics, and a surprisingly modern feel.

This example has been very well cared for and remains in excellent condition, with only minimal signs of use. The Vintage Sunburst finish looks particularly classy on the Ultra Swede, giving it a familiar vintage-inspired appearance while retaining the unique character that sets Hagstrom apart.

The Ultra Swede's mahogany body and maple top provide a warm, resonant foundation with plenty of sustain, punch, and midrange character. The contoured body sits comfortably against the player, while the shorter-scale design and ergonomic construction make the guitar feel remarkably easy to handle.

Hagstrom's renowned Resinator fingerboard is another highlight. Smooth, stable, and exceptionally consistent, it provides a wonderfully slick playing surface that pairs beautifully with the guitar's fast neck profile. The combination of Hagstrom's hardware, construction, and naturally resonant body gives the instrument excellent sustain and a lively acoustic response. Plugged into a good amplifier, it has plenty of character and responds particularly well to changes in picking attack and guitar volume.
