This is a very cool 2009 Gibson Les Paul Gary Moore BFG in Lemonburst.
In very good condition for the year. As these guitars were deliberately built to give a "roadworn" to the finish, and this really works when you look at it,
Our example has minimal fret wear, and the frets themselves are in great shape and nicely polished when it came to us, which suggests it had a caring previous owner who looked after it.
One on the the mirror top control knobs has some fine fractures, but its fully functional and could be easily replaced if so desired. We think it looks great as it is. Some scuffs and light marks, but hard to tell if this is how it left that factory or the result of use, but who cares when it looks this good.
It's a beast of a guitar when you plug it in, and the setup is really nice. The Burst Bucker III Humbucker and P-90 pickups combination is just so usable, and this thing screams when you wind up the volume.
We have set it up, and it has a fresh set of Ernie Super Slinky 9's fitted.
And just to make things really interesting, you can end your set with the artistic use of its factory-fitted kill switch!
It's also super light, weighing just 7.28 lb, probably down to its chambered Mahogany body and Maple cap.
