This is a fine 1981 Fender Strat, a premium quality Stratocaster with a mix of old and new, these guitars were made in the original Fullerton factory.
Pre CBS design mixed with the most advanced electronics yet seen on this famous Fender guitar.
This example is in very good condition with just a few minor chips and dings. The frets are excellent and the Rosewood fingerboard is like new. It also has the original tremolo arm original case and even the owners manual!
This has a U shaped neck with a very slim 41mm top nut. There is a lot of advanced features for the day with its rotary control giving the player 9 tones to play with and the famous hot X-1 bridge pickup. All of this functions perfectly and there is a remarkable amount of variation available to the player.
Brass bridge block and saddles with real Gold plating. Lots of sustain here, a real powerhouse!
