If you’re chasing that crushing modern Jazzmaster tone with stripped-back attitude, this 2022 Fender Jim Root Signature Jazzmaster delivers in spades. Finished in a menacing Flat Black and built for pure performance, this model ditches the traditional Jazzmaster complexity in favour of a streamlined, high-output machine ready for heavy riffs, tight rhythms, and soaring leads.
Condition is Very Good overall. The guitar has clearly been cared for and shows only minimal signs of normal use. There is one repaired chip on the lower horn that has been professionally addressed and is purely cosmetic. Additionally, the low E string locking tuner still tunes normally, but the locking mechanism is not functioning, so it currently behaves like a standard tuner. The instrument otherwise works perfectly with no functional issues.
Playability is excellent, the neck feels fast and comfortable, the electronics are quiet and responsive, and it absolutely sounds huge, just as you’d expect from the Jim Root platform. Whether you’re pushing high-gain amps or dialing in articulate cleans, this guitar responds beautifully.
The sale includes the original Fender hard case along with all of the original case candy.
Overall, this is a killer example of a Jim Root Jazzmaster that plays, sounds, and looks fantastic, with only minor cosmetic and hardware notes keeping it from higher condition grades. A great chance to grab a serious stage-ready instrument at a friendlier price.
