PRODUCT DETAILS
Fender Jaguar - 1968 Lake Placid Blue
Original 1968 Fender Jaguar, built at the Fullerton factory and finished in rare custom colour Lake Placid Blue with matching painted headstock. Another hard-to-find example with bound rosewood fingerboard, pearl block inlays, and that classic late-'60s offset vibe.
Alder body with maple neck, slim profile, 41mm nut width (replaced—very clean job), and original grey-bottom pickups that deliver the signature Jaguar tone: bright, articulate, and full of short-scale snap. Original electronics and tremolo system work well and hold tuning reliably.
Some changed parts include the bridge, strap buttons, and nut. Original frets are low and playable, though a refret may be worth considering in future. Weight is 8.65lbs.
Sold with original ’60s Fender black Tolex hard case.
