Beautiful 2013 Violin Burst Fender American Select Thinline Telecaster with Maple Fretboard in Very Good Condition
Another beauty just in a 2013 Fender American Select Thinline Telecaster finished in that gorgeous Violin Burst, complete with a maple fretboard and all the tone and class you’d expect from this top-shelf series.
The American Select line was Fender’s premium USA-made offering at the time instruments built with extra attention to materials, finish, and detail. This one’s got a beautifully grained semi-hollow ash body that keeps it light and resonant, while the flame maple top under that Violin Burst is pure eye candy. The gloss maple neck has a smooth modern C profile that plays fast and feels right at home whether you’re digging in or laying back.
This particular Tele has a Bigsby B7 trem professionally installed by the previous owner, and it suits the guitar perfectly smooth action, stable tuning, and a subtle shimmer that brings out a whole new side of the Thinline tone. The original hardtail bridge and parts are included if you ever want to revert it to stock.
Condition-wise, this one’s seen some real-life play but nothing heavy. A few small chips and dings here and there, some honest finish checking from natural aging, and light wear on the edges all purely cosmetic, nothing that affects playability or tone. The pickguard has been swapped, and the original is included with the rest of the parts. Frets are in great shape with plenty of life left, and everything works exactly as it should.
The tone is everything you’d hope for bright, open, and articulate, with that sweet semi-hollow resonance that rounds off the highs just enough. Plugged in, it’s got all the snap and twang of a great Tele, but with a bit more air and dimension in the mids.
This one comes complete with its original Fender tweed hard case, the original parts and hardware, and it’s been freshly set up and ready to play.
