This is a magnificent Vega Cylinder back, or "Hump Back" style, Adirondack Spruce top vintage Mandolin. Brazilian Rosewood back and sides, Ebony fingerboard, and Mahogany neck Believed to be from 1916.
The serial number is 32901. No cracks or breaks. Changed tailpiece cover.
Canted top design, in excellent condition, and with a clear punchy tone that will hold its own against the loudest Dreadnaught.
"The Vega Co Boston, Mass USA" label intact.
Sold with a quality TKL Tweed hardshell case.
