This is a Stelling "Staghorn" five string banjo. Hand crafted in Afton Virginia. The professional’s choice and a rare find here in the UK.
This example has the Tony Pass 600TS tone pot which is dated 2006. We understand from the previous owner that this pot is a replacement for the original, which is not included with the banjo. This believe that this would have had the instruments serial number, but this is not available.
It has a "Snuffy Smith" bridge, sounds amazing and it is sold with its original TKL Stelling branded case, spare arm rest and leather strap.
Its had a life, obviously gigged and showing some signs of fret wear. Beautiful to behold with its lashings of expertly inlayed Abalone and wonderful Claro Walnut.
