This is a 2003 Rickenbacker 330-12 in Fireglo in excellent condition.
A true classic of the electric 12-string world, the Rickenbacker 330-12 is instantly recognisable for its distinctive styling, shimmering tone, and legendary association with the sound of the 1960s. This 2003 example is a superb representation of the model and has clearly been cherished by its previous owner, spending most of its life safely stored in its case.
The guitar presents in excellent condition, with no dings and only a few very light signs of use. The Fireglo finish remains rich, vibrant, and beautifully preserved, highlighting the classic Rickenbacker semi-hollow maple body. The setup and playing action are superb, making this a very comfortable and inspiring instrument to play.
Built to Rickenbacker’s traditional specification for the 330-12, this model features a semi-hollow maple body, maple neck with a rosewood fingerboard, 24 frets, and the distinctive Rickenbacker “slash” soundhole. It is fitted with a pair of Rickenbacker high-gain single-coil pickups, stereo Rick-O-Sound capability alongside the standard mono output, and the classic six-saddle bridge with the iconic “R” tailpiece. The famous cresting-wave body shape and Fireglo finish make this one of the most recognisable guitars ever produced.
Tonally, the 330-12 delivers the unmistakable Rickenbacker 12-string sound: bright, chiming, and beautifully articulate with exceptional note separation. The high-gain pickups provide clarity and sparkle while still offering enough body and warmth for rhythm work.
