This is a 2019 Gibson Custom Shop 1957 Les Paul Standard Reissue Goldtop, offered for sale in mint condition. Part of a significant private collection, the guitar has seen only a few hours of careful home use and remains exceptionally well preserved. It is supplied complete with its original case, Certificate of Authenticity, swing tags and all accompanying paperwork.
The 2019 model year marked a significant step forward for Gibson's Historic Reissue programme, with numerous refinements aimed at achieving even greater vintage accuracy. These improvements included hand-wired electronics featuring paper-in-oil capacitors, vintage-taper potentiometers, and a pair of unpotted Custombucker humbuckers closely modelled on original 1959 PAF specifications.
