2013 Fender Pawn Shop Series Vaporizer 2x10" Combo — Slate Blue — Excellent Condition with Original Footswitch
Here’s a super cool blast from Fender’s short-lived but much-loved Pawn Shop Series — the 2013 Vaporizer combo in Slate Blue. This one’s in excellent shape and includes the original two-button footswitch, which is often missing.
The Vaporizer has that perfect mix of retro vibe and real tube tone. It’s a 12-watt, all-tube 2x10" combo that looks like it fell straight out of a mid-century sci-fi movie — chrome trim, space-age control panel, and a “Vaporizer” badge that glows when it’s powered up. Fender really nailed the look on these.
Tone-wise, it’s simple but full of character: Volume, Tone, and Reverb controls, powered by two EL84s. It’ll do clean and chimey at lower levels, but push it a bit and you get that gritty, vintage-style overdrive that’s pure fun. The onboard spring reverb is lush, and the “Vaporizer Mode” (activated by the footswitch) bypasses the tone circuit and cranks it straight into overdrive — loud, raw, and unapologetically cool.
Cosmetically, this one’s in excellent condition. The Slate Blue vinyl looks great, the grill cloth is clean, and everything works as it should. No major wear or issues — just a well-kept amp that’s been cared for.
A fun, great-sounding amp with tons of personality — these have become something of a cult favorite since Fender discontinued them.
As is standard practice with any new arrival in store, this very cool Vaporizer has been through the trusted hands of our team in our onsite workshop to ensure it is in tip-top shape for its new home and owner!
