2020 Fender Deluxe Roadhouse Stratocaster – Olympic White
A clean and well-kept example of the Deluxe Roadhouse Stratocaster from 2020, finished in classic Olympic White. This is Fender’s modern “super Strat” take—traditional looks paired with player-friendly upgrades and a versatile onboard electronics package.
Built to Fender’s 2020 factory spec, this model features an alder body with a maple neck and fingerboard, shaped to a modern “C” profile. The 12” fingerboard radius is flatter than a vintage Strat, making bends feel smooth and controlled while still retaining a familiar Fender feel for chord work. Medium jumbo frets, a two-point synchronized tremolo, and locking machine heads round things out, giving solid tuning stability and a slick, dependable playing experience.
Electronics are where the Roadhouse stands apart. It’s loaded with three Vintage Noiseless single-coil pickups, paired with an onboard active preamp offering multiple tonal presets via the V6 rotary switch. This setup allows you to move from traditional Strat tones through to thicker, more driven voices without introducing hum or noise.
Tonally, it covers a lot of ground. In its more traditional settings, you get that unmistakable Strat clarity—glassy highs, a scooped midrange, and a tight, percussive low end. Positions two and four deliver the expected quack and sparkle, perfect for funk, pop, and clean rhythm work. Engage the preamp and things thicken up noticeably, adding midrange push and output that take it into hotter, more modern territory. Lead tones become fuller and more sustaining, while still retaining note definition. It’s a flexible instrument that can move from clean and chimey to punchy and driven without needing to touch your amp.
Condition is excellent, with only a few light marks from use—nothing significant. It’s been well cared for and benefits from a lovely setup, with a comfortable, low playing action that makes it an easy guitar to pick up and enjoy.
