Super rare Fender American Deluxe Nashville Telecaster Translucent Teal 1999!
Made for a very short period of time in the late '90s, this gorgeous Tele features three Noiseless single coils, a 5-way pickup selector & mini-toggle for neck pickup boost. The premium ash body is finished in an eye-catching trans teal, complete with belly cut & top binding.
Cosmetic Condition is excellent, with very few signs of any use, and it looks like it has spent most of its time in its case. The setup and frets are all good. We have put it through the workshop, and it is now ready for a new home.
It has a C-shape maple neck with black side dots and attractive abalone dot inlays in the fretboard. Fender chrome sealed tuners are in perfect working condition. 1 11/16" nut width; 25 1/2" scale length. The neck is straight & truss rod is in perfect working condition.
The body is contoured with the belly cut, it sits really nicely on your lap or on a strap. The use of solid ash is a rarity in the Fender range at this time, and the timber selected on this example is really, really nice.
In an attractive translucent teal finish with top binding. Our photos don't do it justice, it has a distinctive green-blue hue that we can't replicate even in natural light. So please bear this in mind when looking at the images listed.
String-thru bridge with adjustable saddles. 3-ply mint pickguard.
Original strap buttons with strap locks supplied. The guitar weighs 8.95Lb
This is a real Swiss Army knife that will encompass many styles of playing Pickups: Three Noiseless single coils. Bridge - 8.05K ohms; Middle - 9.33K ohms; Neck - 11.16K ohms with the boost & 4.80K ohms without. Master volume & tone controls with knurled knobs; 5-way pickup selector switch; 2-way mini toggle for neck pickup boost.
Case: Original hardshell case included, although the handle has been replaced and repaired. The case itself is in excellent condition.
