Augustino LoPrinzi Custom Koa 2000
This is a year 2000 Augustino Lo Prinzi Custom Koa Dreadnought acoustic guitar.
Hand made, one of a series of twelve, from this small acoustic guitar workshop in Clearwater Florida.
Spruce top with a Herringbone binding, Highly figured Koa back and sides, Mahogany neck with an Ebony fingerboard. Nicely put together and with a Nitro finish. The top nut measures 44mm. It has excellent quality Grover machine heads. This guitars build quality is excellent. Serial number 2806.
Some marks small dings and signs of use. It has a small chip on the edge of the headstock. The setup is excellent with a low smooth playing action.
The tone is wonderful, clear highs, defined bass and yet warm. The neck is relativly slim and very comfortable in the hand.
It has a Schertler Bluestick picup system with a soundhole mounted mute switch.
The pick gaurd has been replaced in the past and there is minimul fret wear. The frets are are also nicely crowned and polished.
Supplied with a Hiscox hard shell case.
