Here we have a very interesting and exceptionally well-built USA Warmoth S Style acoustic-electric guitar. This is a lightweight, high-quality custom build that blends the familiar feel and comfort of a Strat-style electric guitar with the practicality and plugged-in performance of a modern stage acoustic. Finished with premium hardware throughout, this is a serious player’s instrument designed for live use.

Condition-wise, the guitar is presented in excellent overall condition with only a few minor dings and light signs of use consistent with a well cared for instrument. Nothing excessive or structural whatsoever, just honest cosmetic wear. The setup is superb with a very comfortable low action and effortless playability right across the neck. At an incredibly lightweight 5.14lbs, it feels wonderfully responsive and easy to handle, whether standing on stage or sitting at home.

The guitar features a Strat-shaped maple neck paired with a dark rosewood fingerboard and a comfortable 9.5” radius, giving it a familiar, smooth and easy playing feel. Fitted are high quality Sperzel locking machine heads which provide exceptional tuning stability and make string changes fast and simple.  We have set it up with a fresh set of Elixir OPTIWEB 9-46 strings.

One of the standout features is the superb Mi-Si Acoustic Trio pickup and preamp system. Mi-Si systems are highly regarded for their exceptionally natural amplified acoustic tone and innovative rechargeable power design. Unlike standard battery-powered systems, the Mi-Si uses a built-in capacitor-based preamp which charges in just 60 seconds using the supplied charger, delivering up to 16 hours of use without the need for disposable batteries.

The Mi-Si Acoustic Trio system combines an undersaddle pickup with active buffering to produce a clear, dynamic and impressively feedback-resistant acoustic sound. It offers excellent headroom, clarity and warmth, making it ideal for live performance and recording alike. Through an amp or PA system, this guitar delivers a remarkably convincing acoustic voice whilst retaining the comfort and practicality of a compact solid body instrument. Another neat feature is its Telecaster style string- through- body design. The bridge pins are merely a cosmetic feature. Despite being a solid body this guitar is remarkably resonant acoustically.

Think of it as something along the lines of a Fender Acoustasonic, but with simpler functionality, exceptional build quality and a more straightforward player-focused design. It makes an ideal stage acoustic where feedback resistance, portability and ease of use are essential.
