PRODUCT DETAILS
This is a very special vintage Taylor 855 12 String made in 1978. This was formally owned by Kurt Listug who was and still is Taylor Guitars CEO.
Hand-made "Lemon Grove" era instrument. Very few of these were made ( Around 6 Pieces) and Neil Young owns two of them!
Serial number 673 and sold with the original purchase and Taylor service receipt.
Sitka Spruce top, nicely aged and with a big balanced tone. Rosewood back and sides with an Ebony fingerboard. Built-in electronics.
The condition is excellent when considering the year, just a few chips and dings as one would expect. No breaks and no repairs. Great setup and frets.
A fine instrument in its own right with one of the most playable necks that you will find on a 12 string.
A super nice instrument to play and a fantastic investment.
