Martin 1986 D35
This 38-year-old Martin D35 plays and sounds amazing with a very good neck, good neck angle, and nice action all the way up and down the fingerboard. This guitar has a sweet warm sound. Clear highs, a tight bass, and lots of volume and headroom.
This instrument blew us away with its tone even before we gave it a full workshop setup and new strings. New guitars just don't sound this good!
The condition is excellent for the year, with just a few light ding marks and signs of use. All in keeping with a used and cared-for guitar that has seen some life but has been treasured. The frets and fingerboard are excellent, polished, and with plenty of life left in them.
Spruce top mated to a lovely Rosewood back and sides, bound Ebony fingerboard, solid Mahogany neck.
With no cracks and no repairs, a stunning example of a favorite Martin Dreadnought.
Sold with a newer Martin hardshell case.
